"I can write about anything!"™

Lifebridge Healthcare

This project began as an assignment to proofread and copy edit the manuscript of a book about elder care for a friend and colleague who had a contract for the book. She's a dedicated resesarcher and is a wonderful writer, but realized she needed someone to pitch in on finetuning the text. As we worked on early chapters, my contributions became more that of a co-author as well as proofreader and copy editor, and the result is a co-byline on the cover. Our contact at the publisher's has said the book could not have been published without my involvement, and the lead author has been equally appreciative, which is a great feeling.

The Who, What and Where of Elder Care: A handy, step-by-step guide to help navigate the maze of caregiving

Watch this space for details from the text of my first co-authored book!

Here's our first reader review: "Got the book. What a gem! How I wish I had this book 15 years ago when my dad first became ill. Instead, my sister and I learned about these issues the hard way...from experience. Pass this book around. And for gosh sakes, I think it needs to go public!"

The book is available free. For a copy, just log onto the
LifeBridge Health website at: www.lifebridgehealth.org/getacopy
or call the
LifeBridge Health Marketing Department at 410-601-5022. Be sure to tell them that co-author Ruth sent you!
